• A 6 year-old boy presented to the emergency department after falling 5 feet off a trampoline and hitting his head. He had no loss of consciousness. He has no headache and no other complaints upon evaluation in the ED.

  • None.

  • Not contributory.

  • Lives 15 minutes away with his parents and 2 siblings. He is in kindergarten.

    • GCS 15: Normal mental status.
    • Cranial nerves intact.​
    • Normal motor and sensory exam.

Radiology Report

There is a small amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage in the right frontal lobe. There is a linear, non-displaced occipital bone fracture. There are no other abnormal findings.
